For the capologists out there: How will the cavs be able to sign LeBron this year after everyone else is already signed? I feel like I'm wrong, but I didn't know you could sign a guy off the street once you were above the tax line?

I believe that nobody has officially signed.

You can sign your own players when over the cap if you have their bird rights

He isn't off the street. They still have his bird rights. Once you are above the tax line you can pretty much only use MLE, Vet mins, and re-sign your own players. And trades.. of course. Can't do any Sign and Trades though.
