Growing up, I spent many weekends there at a friends camp, which, if I remember the local nomenclature, was in the "Plum Orchard" area.

One time we were there, and this guys whole family was pretty much there, and there were a BUNCH of them - maybe 40-50 people or so. None of them were great fisherman/had never caught much out there. They spent ALOT more time swimming/skiing that kinda thing (that they were great at...bunch of them could barefoot, and REALLY slalom), as that was their thing.

Anyway, I was just farting around off the dock, throwing a little chrome rattle trap, and caught three bass - I'm talking turds right, MAYBE 10 inches long - in less than 5 minutes. I'd catch one, do the old "hold it up and yell back to the folks up on the deck/hold the fish up/do a little brag pose", then flip him back into the lake.

I had to give up my hot spot though, because within 2 minutes of catching that third bass, I must have have had 10 kids, all under the age of 10, beating the water off the end of that boat dock to death. There we kids EVERYWHERE, lures and rods flying everywhere, couple of kids whacked in the head with a fishing pole, which meant a couple of kids crying at all times, several of them were throwing H and H's with the hooks taken out for obvious safety reason, so that should tell you how old these kids were. Was freakin chaos. Good times though.
