If we are talking recently, our QB got arrested for trying to get back stuff that was stolen from him.

Since this is the LSU recruiting board, and not the bottom dwellers of the B1G recruiting board, I will stay on topic.

From a recruiting perspective, this adds a quality depth QB for next year, without using a scholly in this or next class. I like it.

Exactly. Low risk, high reward pickup.

If he's really good, great. If not, what have we lost?

I realize there was a good chance that we didn't take another QB in this class, but taking Etling solidifies it. I agree with others though. Hopefully, he can be a quality back-up AND he doesn't count towards this year's class.

Wow, just wow with that research. That's some serious turning of the tables.

He's a good kid though, so you won't have to worry about the stabbing, raping, thieving, etc.. that you do with

though.

WOW! You need your arse kicked for that. Even better you need to be stabbed and raped.

Very quality depth and if there aren't big strides from either guy this season, Danny has a very good chance to contend for the spot in the 2016 season. Feleipe isn't doing anything until at least 2017.

Does this mean that Jennings is done for good?

Nope. Just my opinion jennings dresses out week 1 but doesn't play and if harris sucks against state then jennings will come in.

I'm all for depth but I remember that last big 10 transfer we got and he didn't even have to sit.

Couldn't hurt and this kid shouldn't scare off anybody if LSU signs another QB for 2016.

Good pick up high praise from experienced recruiting guys. Doesn't hurt our numbers. Kid has the tools. On a better note word is Harris has gained 20lbs and is workin Azz off in weight room.

The guy can play. Will be our number 2 next year after either Harris/Jennings transfers. Franks get to redshirt; then it's his era

What does it solidify for 2016? he's played 2013 and 2014. If he sits out in 2015, wont that make him a Sr, in 2016? That doesnt seem to solidify the 2016 class.

He played on a awful team and that didn't help him. He may not be our savior but he is more than worth the risk.

So if the team was undefeated, the other 2 more talented qb's wouldn't have beat him out and made him quit?

That is the exact question I have as well.

I can actually see him playing on a bad team impacts his stats and etc but the fact that someone beat him out for starter is where I am lost.

But I keep thinking its a reason why they are losing. Maybe he isn't a good head coach and they don't make the best calls.

Hey idiots, big 10 won the natty last year.

Maybe stfu, okay?

I'll help your dumb arse out, thisbwoukd be like the 3rd string qb from Kentucky calling and wanting to transfer here when Bama won the title.

I guess you would come here and say "he must be good, that conference won the natty"

You just can't fix stupid. He was pushed to 3rd on the depth chart!

After sutting out 2015, he will have 2 to play 2 (I think). That should make him a junior in 2016 (he signed in 2013, played in 13 games in 2013 and 2014 - so, coming off his true sophomore year).
