re: Your best/worst roommate story

Worst - Had a three bedroom house, rented rooms since I was just out of college and could use the extra money. On average we had a 60 dollar electric bill. She moved in and every month it shot up to 200 a month. Which even dividing it up cost me more in the electric bill. She said her room was too hot. In the summer she would have her tv, lights, computer on, door shut and window open. Came home from work and she would have the AC set around 65-67 and left the back door open. AC ran all day. She left as angry as could be but the bill went back to about 60 a month.

Best - In college I rented a room in Los Angeles from a lady who rented two rooms out to college students while she lived there with a friend as well. The fourth room was always switching tenants and it was the room I shared a bathroom with. A new girl moved in and I left for a two month colorado trip in the winter. I got back and she was excited to have someone her age in the house. We hung out on occasion, she had no car so I occasionally gave her a ride to work or picked her up if it was late. One day she showed up drunk and came to talk (as usual) but while talking she started running her hand on my crotch. Knowing she was trashed I stopped her since we lived together and didn't want her saying I took advantage of her. The next day she came in the room to say she was not that kind of girl and he hopes I did not think bad of her. About a week later she came to watch a movie in my room and we hooked up. Remained friends and had a few more encounters before I moved on to another school.
