Caught these two beauties exactly one hour apart on Saturday out of Hopedale
ETA: we also boxed 15 keeper trout. Had to throw back 1-2 undersized trout per keeper. Not a home run day but the weather was beautiful so we just stayed patient and enjoyed the day.

Nice fish.
We threw a beating on them today in Galliano. By the time noon rolled around it was just too hot to fish. Even our tropical fly lines were getting limp after being stripped out on the deck or a few minutes. Had to keep them spooled which made quick shots a pain in the arse.
The water was nasty. Even the areas that always hold clean water were dirty.
