How did human survive for the other thousands of years that we didn't have our wisdom teeth pulled as teenagers?
Do you even evolution, bro?
For most, the third molars are a vestigial organ, like the appendix, that has lost it's usefulness.
I don't believe in the prophylactic removal of all wisdom teeth. I only suggest removal of third molars that are not properly erupted, infected with caries or pericoronitis, or impossible to clean for the patient.

Since there are dentists here, is there a such thing as dental anxiety?
I seriously get freaked out with people putting their hands in my mouth. It almost gives me a panic attack.
Im serious. I feel like a baby, but I avoid the dentist for this reason.
Would I sound like a junkie asking for gas?
Btw, who's a good dentist in BR that won't screw me?
