Get some cones, get it the pasture and get'er done. Go slow, make small corrections, use your mirrors, get some post extensions, and practice, practice, practice
My dad taught us to back a trailer when we could touch the pedals. One of the many things I'm glad he taught me.

I did not get a boat until I was 40 so I had to learn to back it up. It took awhile to get comfortable and not embarrass myself.
First practice backing straight if you can back up straight 50 yards you are 90% there.
Once you can consistently backup straight you will then be able to turn while backing up.
Go to a church on a non-Sunday and just work on going straight backwards.
When loading a boat with current back the trailer at an angle INTO the current so you will drive the boat against the current to the trailer.
If the current is going West then have the trailer facing West so you are driving the boat East onto the trailer.
