Russell
Olajuwon
Mutombo
Wallace
Howard
So you think Howard was a better defensive center than
Shaq
Wilt
Mikan
Moses
Ewing
Robinson
Duncan (he's a center)
Mourning
Parish
Camby
Bradley and Bol still have a good bit more blocks than Dwight.

lets look at the scrub 2nd teamers
Amare
Yao, not really a scrub
Amare
Amare
Bynum
So Amare was the 2nd best center in the league during that 5 year run. That's some top notch competition.

That's a great feat
I'm not saying Dwight isn't great, but he had hardly any competition at the center position during his big run, and he has zero championships.
I don't have a problem with him making the HOF, but he's not in the conversation with the big dominant centers of all time.

Maybe Robinson, maybe Abdul Jabbar, none of the others. No way. You can't go by all time blocks when one guy is still playing and isn't even 30 and the others are retired and play into their late mid 30s.
