Why does Virginia host over Maryland? They were both 3 seeds and Maryland knocked off the number 1 seed in the tourney. Im just curious how they decide this when neither teams are national seeds and both teams are the same seed in their regional.

rt, Im looking for a little help here, by Friday or Saturday start times for the Supers being announced, does that correlate with when each team may play on the opening weekend in Omaha? i.e. Friday Super = Saturday Omaha, Saturday Super = Sunday Omaha?
