alternate channel?

If SECNetwork has an "alternate" channel why don't they show an "alternate" game instead of the same game on both channels?

I don't know. i'm on Comcast here in Houston and I've not been able to even find the damn alternate channel. ergo, don't know what they are showing.

I was wondering the sam the other day. On ATT they have 2 alternate channels and never seem to use it.

I've never seen a game on my alternate channel on direct tv.
It just says To be announced and plays music.

the alternate channel does not even work in most cities or on most cable systems
