300 years ago someone in Africa "needed a job". So a Muslim came up to him and said, why don't you help me kidnap your cousin and we can sell him to the slave ships.
Don't African Americans know it was the Muslim religion that started the slavery that brought them to America. Why would they want to turn Muslim now 300 years later when it was Muslim that enslaved them to begin with 300 years ago?
