As in "they come and go"? That can't be if you're talking about conventional, non-threatening floaters--those are permanent dry patches of aqueous fluid, they don't go away.

Just to clarify--floaters that appear and DO NOT go away are the non-threatening type. It's when you notice the sudden appearance of several new floaters that you should see an ophthalmologist about a possible detached retina. That shite obviously is very serious.
