I'm not defending or in any way condoning Nazi policy towards Jews. I am, however, trying to point out that Hitler's Germany didn't have the market cornered on this type of "social engineering" and it didn't end in 1945.
Some of the more aggressive eugenics programs in the US were in NC and CA. They were still sterilizing "retards" into the 60s.
I know it's not what you're trying to do but this makes it sound like you're ready to mount a defense of Nazi policy toward the Jews.
