Nassau to Eleuthera. 14 passenger prop plane on Bahamas Air, 18 minute flight through a storm that delayed us from taking off. The plane dropped probably 5 times and it felt like we were fish tailing. People were freaking out, screaming, praying, and getting sick. Most scared I've ever been

I am hating this thread. The more I fly for work, the more I hate it. Anyway, flew on the company jet (seats about 16) from Naples to New Jersey. About 45 minutes outside of Jersey, we hit a winter storm. I swear no one said a word for the duration. As one poster said, we were actually flying sideways, similar to hydroplaning in a car. I asked the pilot if he enjoyed navigating in that kind of weather, and he said it was mostly annoying. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Took a puddle jumper from Baltimore to Newark . Flew right into a thunderstorm I thought for sure I would die. My brother and I kept on clowning each other knowing we was both scared shitless. It made it worse when the sixty year old stewardess who has been flying for so long she was an original member of the mile high club, looked at me holding the seats to steady herself and says" that's not supposed to happen"

About 15 years ago on a flight from Dallas to Shreveport. Plane bouncing, lightning flashing, women screaming and I'm gripping the hand rest. I had a little talk. I said "If you get me off this plane I will never ride another plane ever again." We have both lived up to that end of the deal.
