The driver is going to be pissed when he loses that fare. If thats how it works?

Uber should Institute a policy of verifying the passenger's identity before beginning the ride.

When we opened the app after getting the email receipt, it wouldn't allow us to do anything without first giving feedback to the driver. Obviously we were pissed and ended up giving him a 1 star just so we could get into other parts of the app. I hope Uber doesn't hold that against him and voids the rating.

This!!! It is just like the folks at the check out counter at Macy's or other stores at the mall asking for an ID when you tell them you are paying by credit card. It can't be that hard a policy to institute.
