My wife and I have travel backpacks that fill up the max allowable. We can do about 10 days worth with that with possibly laundry at one hotel. Of course I have a day pack that is my under the seat carry on that carries cameras, tablet or whatever and she has her purse.

Can't recall if she willingly downsized or not.

We never check bags domestically. She has a "weekender" bag for that.

But really I don't know what other benefit they could give on those cards that wouldn't cost them a fortune. I just burn the club passes whenever and cancel after a year.

I bet kids will change this.
