I'm not a big fan of the notion of having to have one guy for all three sports. I've heard that's what they want and I wish they would reconsider that position.

I insisted on one "Voice of the Tigers," but I'm reconsidering.

Times have changed. With the internet and with every game on national or regional TV, that one "voice from god" radio announcer isn't that important.

So yeah, splitting the duties up three ways would be fine with me.

Not everyone is gonna be paid Hawthorne money if they split the duties up. I'm sure one person wants to be the Voice.

We have had: Hannagrif, Ford; wright , Blanton , Rush , Hultberg, Moreau , and Hawthorne. Are these guys going to get pissed if LSU brings in an outsider ?

Do we really need three guys calling basketball and baseball ?

What about Bill Franques ? Is he a potential candidate ?

Jay Walker, current voice of the UL-L Ragin' Cajuns. The melt would be epic!
