First of all, I'm happy you were fortunate enough to survive being shot and were able to testify against one of the people who murdered your friend. Very possibly, that conviction doesn't happen without your testimony.
Secondly, I had no idea there was ANY weed in the house until I read the NOLA.com you linked earlier this week.

I've never blamed you and the other victims for what happened to y'all. People like the Lee brothers are opportunists, but generally, they select their targets for a reason. In your case, perhaps the nice cars at the house got their attention. I have no idea...

My point was that, in my opinion, it's highly unlikely that these six characters just happened to be driving through your neighborhood in the middle of the night, in the middle of the week, and decided, "That house!" I think the house was targeted, perhaps for completely misguided reasons, but targeted, nevertheless.

I wish you the best and did not mean to upset you. I hope the brother pleas out, so you and your friends are able to avoid another trial.
