This is impossible. The Les apologists told me Harris was spoiled and expected everything to be handed to him and didn't prepare on his own enough.
I'm sure they'll be along shortly to say Les is just knighting for Harris.

This thread is going to blow up. Won't be long before JJ/JL comes in. I'll go ahead and throw in my opinion.
His comments were made for a few reasons.
1. The psyche of a QB. Your first start in a hostile environment and you lay an egg. Whether it's your fault or not. That crap lingers. It can hinder development. He's trying to take pressure off his QBs. No doubt everyone who is an LSU faithful is watching that position. At what 19 years old? That's huge pressure
2. He's owning up to his mistakes. While he's not in danger of losing his job, he's definitely under pressure for his management of the QBs. All outcomes whether positive or not fall into him. I like it. It shows responsibility and courage in my book
3. He's setting the stage. Let's be honest, outside the QB position, LSU is in great position this year. Alabama will be down with losing that talent, but they'll definitely reload. Auburn is reloading. A&M is a dumpster fire. Moo st is rebuilding. Arky is improving. Ole Miss has legitimate power outside QB. It's LSU's to lose in my opinion. Completely stacked. Got to continue to build his team.
I'm not saying either QB is going to come out and win the heismsan, but he's definitely moving in the right direction with his players. I for one, love it right now. Simply cannot wait for football season.
