They might find misc stuff to make you think you're getting your money's worth but the biggest issue is always structural concerns imo and for that you're better off getting a report from an engineer.
It's pointless to pay $400 for some guy to tell you that you need gfci outlets in the kitchen and bathroom.

What you really want is to tear out some sheetrock and see if the walls are solid.
But they won't let you do that.
