What? In what world is losing in the National Title game worse than losing to UAB and ULM?
The real world.
The prize is much bigger and the consequences more enduring. Who has lost one and come back to win another? Tressel? Stoops? Miles? It would seem that losing one leads more to future failure than success.
Since losing to UAB Nicky has won 4 NC's and 4 SEC titles. Since losing the MNC game Les has had a couple of nice seasons and lost to Nick three more times..
And all of those pumping Les say not to bring up Nick's success at Bama and you bring up ULM.
The folks on both of the extremes of this argument lost all reason long ago.

Without going any farther back than the BCS era, Bobby Bowden.

You dumb shite, we are talking about LSU and not Alabama. Saban had one fricking great season at LSU and the rest were average to good.
8-4, 10-3, 8-5, 13-1, and 9-4 is NOT a power house program. It's a good program that had one great year.
Saban won the west twice with three SEC loses. How many times has three loses won the west since Saban left?
UAB is easily the most embarrassing LSU defeat in the last two decades. Anyone denying that fact is a troll or a retard.

You have no idea what youre talking about. Losing to UAB is far worse than finishing #2 in the country. I hate our dumbass fan base.
