There's no doubt that I got my first job because of my Dartmouth undergraduate degree. From then on, job offers were the result of the connections and reputation I'd developed at work.

This might be true on average, but our son who recently graduated from LSU earns much more in his first corporate gig than I did in mine, even adjusting for the 245% inflation over these 30+ years.

I've spent a decent amount of time in Hanover over the last few years...I have to tell you, going out to dinner in town and listening to the conversations makes you wonder if you're in a parallel universe!!!!

but I do love to stay at the Hanover Inn...

You can take the kid out of the trailer park but you can't take the trailer park out of the kid. Perfect example of how taking a kid out of his double-wide in T-Town can't adjust to modern society when he sees a two story building.
