Totally agree. If police do not stop and question the person carrying, they are not doing there job.
As for racial profiling, I don't have a problem with it. If blacks did not commit the majority of the crimes or at least an extremely disproportionate amount as a group based on their representation in the total population, it would not happen anyway. But they do, so racial profiling makes sense logically to a large extent.
