So here are screenshots for the starting spot to get to the top of the mountain. The foglets up there are mid 20s. LINK

There are a couple quest items up there but they don't seem to do anything for me as I don't seem to have the quest. I haven't been reading the thread much lately because I am trying to avoid spoilers and some people have finished the game. I am 68 hours in and still in Act 1.
