The only thing I remember about Kansas City was Oklahoma Joe's, but that was across the river in Kansas. Of those I would pick KS, last.

Kansas City has a WWI museum that is very good, and the steamship Arabia museum which is good as well. But yeah, it comes in last; easily.
If I flew to Denver I would not spend a minute in the city. Hell, there are at least a dozen national parks that I prefer to New York City or Boston.
