a lot of people are, however, these films continue to make a killing at the box office so they're not going anywhere.

I'm not burned out. I still love the genre, and Marvel does a fantastic job of translating from page to screen, but the MCU is wearing me down.

It's the same reason I quit reading guys like Martin, Erickson and Jordan. There's just too much to remember. I don't want to take notes during a movie.

Side note: So I think Panther will be introduced via a failed assassination attempt of Banner in retribution for him destroying the city and killing those people in Wakanda.

Side note 2: How many people died in this movie. Minimum several thousand, right?

For the last time, THAT WAS JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA, not Wakanda.

1. Wakanda is in East Africa.

2. Wakanda is by far the most technologically advanced nation in Marvel's Earth.

Sounds like you just have a poor memory. I had no trouble following the latest Avengers. Nor have I had difficulty following Song of Ice and Fire or Wheel of Time.

I love that all of the Marvel movies are connected. As long they continue to make good movies, I don't see how you can get burned out on it. I will watch every single movie Marvel puts out from now until the end of time.
