That performance single-handedly ruined the good will Les built up with many people that season.

Again, only to dumbasses that dont matter. After that season we had 2 straight years of top 15 finishes.
Miles tenure has been tye most successful 10 year stretch in lsu history. Since he was hired no program has been ranked in the top 25 more weeks.no program has beaten more ranked teams. Only lsu fans would be unhappy with a coach that has a top 5 win % in sec history and the #1 ooc win% in sec history.

2 straight years isn't that big of a deal, so please stop acting like it was something equivalent to FSU's top 10 streak.

1) He's been at LSU for 10 years. I'd hope he'd have a ton of wins against top 25 teams, and I'd also wonder how many of those top 25 finished in the top 25. He beat a top 10 Auburn team in 2008, but that team finished unranked.

2) No offense, but # of wins is a bit misleading when teams have 13-14 games a season almost guaranteed now compared to 11 before. Hell, there are teams that were 9-2 back in the day that didn't go to bowls, so harping on that success is a bit silly.

3) In 5 years, Saban achieved the same hardware as Miles has basically in 10 year and achieved it with a 1-loss team winning a title, not a two loss team.

4) OOC is great when you ignore his OOC losses to PSU, Clemson, and Notre Dame because apparently bowl games (which counted when Les was 4-0 in them from 2005-2008) don't really count anymore.

5) Les took over a national championship level team talent-wise when he got here. No other coach took over a team in the shape Les did in the SEC in likely the past 50 years. So I'd hope he'd be successful.
