Again, did I say it was a failure? No, but when you get embarrassed like that on a national stage and then expect it to just be ignored, then you are naive.
That performance single-handedly ruined the good will Les built up with many people that season. It was also just a train wreck people could sense coming from the Arkansas game until the NC.

Again, only to dumbasses that dont matter. After that season we had 2 straight years of top 15 finishes.
Miles tenure has been tye most successful 10 year stretch in lsu history. Since he was hired no program has been ranked in the top 25 more weeks.no program has beaten more ranked teams. Only lsu fans would be unhappy with a coach that has a top 5 win % in sec history and the #1 ooc win% in sec history.
