Not sure I follow her logic. Once the first flight attendant told her to turn it on flight mode, she just returned to her seat until they were in the air? I mean they were still on the ground when she got the text...it didn't cross her mind that if she made a scene while still on the ground, they'd return to the gate and remove her from the plane? If she was that desperate to call him, I'd guess shed have a better chance of that by getting off the plane asap however she could.
