I must be a baseball Tiger Cub b/c to me "the inning" refers to the UC-Irvine game 2 9th inning that helped keep the old Box open 1 more day and eventually propel LSU to the CWS

I also recall we had a break out inning vrs Rice in the 2008 CWS too. Maybe the 5th or 7th inning.

those types of scores happened all the time back than it was a crazy era.
