Nice pics and review.
This place just doesn't do anything for me. Was that a brunch menu? I wonder if the dinner menu has the higher prices I remember seeing before.
I don't view a "taste/amuse bouche" as some kind of ploy. It's a standard practice at many good/established restaurants.

Yeah it was a brunch menu, but a lot of it was the same or similar to their dinner menu. I think the higher prices dropped a little but it's still not cheap.

I don't know if "ploy" is the right word, but the practice wasn't the issue at all. It was the choice of food. The waiter specifically said that the chicken foot was something "unique" that they purposely served new customers so that they could get them talking about the restaurant. It didn't really bother me at all. Just thought they could have executed something better to get people talking
