People keep saying this, but there is no chance in hell that would have happen. If this was Matt Ryan or Phillip Rivers, it would have never made it past a couple of mentions on Sportscenter and/or deadspin. Brady has a lot of haters and he was screwed before the investigation began.

Brady doesn't have a lot of haters. They hate him because of what he's done on the field but that's not the same thing. He's squeaky clean off of it. Everyone likes him as a person. People would forgive and forget.
If anything, all of this pushback from him is making him a little more unlikeable. If you're looking at this situation reasonably, of course he had something to do with the equipment managers altering the balls. Him carrying on as if he didn't comes off as a little arrogant.
