O'Neill piano on Perkins offers group lessons or you could get the name of a private teacher through them. Am no longer in Baton Rouge and have not really been at piano since the death of my son 11 years ago. I just don't have the interest anymore. Steinway grand just sits alone. Will sell one day.

My condolences. Perhaps one day you will decide that it might just be one of gods greatest gifts and earthly blessings and the songs you played many years ago, while painful just might be music to your ears again. Music really is good for the soul I believe.

I've had many losses in the last 24 months and realize there really are no words. I wish you peace. I will contact O'Neil's and give it a try and use this thread as an inspiration as it seems I'm not the only older adult male that would like to learn.
