That is what the $$ is being spent on. That is what was voted on. People are bitching about a drop in the bucket for something that has to do with student living

This is not a budget cut issue

I don't think too many are arguing that it is a budget cut issue. It's just the idea of raising money off of the students through fee bill charges for something this trivial when there are better places this money can go. I know the students voted on it, but it's still not the brightest decision. When I was a student and they had a vote to get my bar tab put on my fee bill, I would have probably voted for it. Doesn't mean it was a good decision. As I would have gotten a little older and realized what was important, I would have said, "you know what, probably should have done something smarter with that money".
