Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter are LSU fans? Who knew?

Wright shakes his head a bit after the announcement while Hunter sits down in a chair, but Wright says that the outside read on his reaction is incorrect. He said any resignation on Hunter’s behalf is because he lost a bet to Wright about what the pick would be and that his own reaction was subdued because he’d always assumed Mariota would be the guy. “I have no reason to be upset,” Wright said, via the Tennessean. “Me personally, I have nothing against Marcus Mariota. I have nothing against the pick. Period.

Mariota isn't a franchise QB and they will see that pretty early on in his career
Obviously, time will tell. You can't say that yet.

If this were 5 years ago he wouldn't have been drafted in the top 20 due to the salary gamble. That's no longer the case since the rookie restructure.
Hence the entire premise of my entire post. Not sure what your point is exactly.

I think we can say that QBs with his background have not fared well in the NFL. We all know that he doesn't have the reps in a pro-style offense that other productive QBs in the league have had prior to starting. That's not opinion, it's fact. QBs can't cheat the process. They need those reps to succeed in the NFL.
I don't think he's a bad pick for every team, he's just a bad pick for the Titans. He needs to sit for a while and he's not going to have that opportunity.

This makes a ton of sense.
