Toefields long td run in that game was electrifying. I could watch that replay over and over again.

I remember no one really knew what to expect that game because the disaster the week before....but then Ro had that hobbled long scramble and crowd bought in

who was the crappy LB from Ruston that flipped the crowd off?

It's definitely South Carolina in 2012

I was there three rows up in the endzone. Personally my favorite game.

Freshman year at LSU

Dec. 1982 LSU 55 Fla. State 21
Winner goes to Orange Bowl
At end of game, oranges rained down onto the field,
LSU students went freaking nuts. It was the first NYD bowl for LSU since 1974 Orange.

The most underrated game in tiger stadium history by White Shadeaux

The two OT wins in 2000 gave us a sense the Tigers were back after a two year drought ( LSUs last losing seasons).

2 losing seasons...????

Yep. Dinardo's final two seasons - 1998 and 1999, were both losing seasons.
Interestingly, the three seasons prior to that - 1995, 1996 and 1997, were all winning seasons and bowl victories, including 1996 10-2 - the first 10-win season at LSU since 1987 and the second since 1961.

Every time this subject comes up the first game I think of is 2000 Mississippi State. Tigers win 45-38 in OT. Also one of the loudest games in TS history.

This is the one I think of also, as far as underrated games. Coming from a big deficit, overtime, and the crowd really, really was loud.
