Yea, thats true, but it's irrelevant in this case. The round will depressurize because of the gap between the cylinder and where the actual barrel begins. Bap was getting at how much clearance they will have between the bullet tip and the forward end of the cylinder. Most revolvers have the bullet nesting very close to the end of the cylinder.

You could look at it from many different aspects I suppose. It's 6 one way and half a dozen the other. In all reality the difference would be negligible when used within the confines of a home.
