Spray WD40 or some penetrant and let it sit. If you have some ATF, put that in there too. Hit it with a hammer

This is where I got to last night before I got stuck. Looking through the ports the piston doesn't look scored at all and the spark plug was the tan color it was supposed to be. Didn't have the white/chalk look like it was running hot. Going to get some penetrating oil after work today to let that sit for a while. I sprayed some WD-40 in the plug hole last night. Looking to get some ATF and something called marvel mystery oil to put in tonight to soak.
Good news was that the crank doesn't have any play in it so that should be good. Also, a good chance to clean everything while its apart.
