Anyone have experience using it? Should I use it or can I get a better deal without it? I've been talking to several dealers around the state and the first thing they want to know is where I work and almost always mention supplier pricing within the first few minutes of discussing cars. Makes you think it isn't that great of a deal

I don't know how supplier compares, but if you are looking for a Chevy, try Chevyland in Shreveport. They sell everything for just a little over invoice, which is pretty close to supplier pricing or in some cases better. They showed me the invoice price and what I was paying. I think it came out to just over $700 of what the invoice price was.

I bought my Camaro thru them and they by far had the best prices compared to just about everywhere else that I looked. They are the biggest Chevy dealer in the state and the 10th in the country. My sales guy was awesome and explained to me that they could sell them for that low because GM gives them incentives for selling a certain amount of cars per month.

It was probably the best car buying experience I've ever had. They didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't want, ordered exactly the car I wanted and I still came in under 1500 on the average MSRP for the SS I bought. No one came close to beating their price.

I ordered my car thru their online sales guy, was called when it came in, drove there to pick it up and I was out the door in under 30 minutes. Before I got there they did all the paperwork a couple of weeks before after my credit check was complete. I just showed up, picked who I wanted to finance it thru, gave them my down payment and signed the paperwork and was handed the keys.

My favorite part was the finance guy when he said:

"I'm forced by policy to ask you if you want to purchase these protection plans for your car other than the warranty. However it is all bullshite GM makes us ask, just say no and sign here"

If you pay invoice on a volume car, you paid too much.

Just fyi.
