Atlanta has a black middle class that is totally unlike the rest of the country. I think that complicates things. We have plenty of aggrieved black folks who could create disorder, but you're not going to have fires burning around the city absent total civil unrest.

We've had 2 questionable police shootings in the past 2 months and nothing out of the ordinary has happened.

They could definitely flare up in these areas. I would suggest not straying too far out of the immediate urban center of each though. You get to the burbs or, God forbid, out in the country and things would turn bad for them quickly.

As for here in Birmingham, I don't really see it happening again unless something really went wrong (on a national scale.)
