Sub 60 is not very fast
Sub 50 is fast. Any appropriate young male 18-35 willing to train can run sub 60
And by train I mean learn how to correctly run a 400mtr race

quote:Besides learning to run the race there are three physical/psychological inherent traits that may make it nearly impossible for some.
And by train I mean learn how to correctly run a 400mtr race
1. Slow-some people are just slow. If their top-end speed is slow (i.e. > 14 seconds 100 meters), then all of endurance in the world won't help much.
2. Endurance-some people are unable to build much endurance. So unless thet good top end speed, they will have difficulty maintamaint.
3. Mental Persistenece- even with they physical capabilities, the mental aspects can cause a person to underperform. So thhan with borderline physical traits to run 60 with but who lack the mental strength, will probably struggle to make it.
