It's directed at our own dugout. Major leaguers even do this among their teammates.
Cocky would be bat flipping (Foster has) but that would be the extent from what I've seen all year and even that was no big deal
You have to understand an inside celebration among teammates and the excitement behind it and then the difference from that and cockiness. Almost every team has a celebration after a double or more towards their guys. After Bregman turned the double play you could read his lips, "let's go!"
That's more of the mentality behind the celebrations you see. Not exactly showing off like you take it to be.
This team has so many selfless players and guys who pretty much pray on the mound. They are confident and they are having a great time. Let them.
