Start here...Cut the bull shite courses
Some business and engineering students minor in subjects you would consider bullshite courses. From languages to graphic design.
My friend was a accounting major here at LSU a few years ago. She wanted to minor in Portuguese, but after they cut the program, she left. If the same thing happens to more languages and other "bullshite courses" you will see similar correlation effects.
Just because the course isn't crunching numbers the whole time doesn't mean it's a bullshite course. You strike me as a very selfish Ayn Rand type person who uses the word me/I in every sentence. I hope that changes.

a lot of things she predicted in her book is happening. Don't try to shame a person as being "selfish" as a counter argument. It makes you loOK like you are using emotions to convey your point of view. Try to use facts, logic.
About LSU cirriculum, I agree with one of the previous poster that the school should get grid on these irrelevant classes. if you want to learn about french art history or women suffrage, get a library card. Employers now a day are looking for only a handful of critical thinking, problem solvers to fill limited positions. If a company is looking at 10 candidates to fill their office position, they will choose someone with solid excel skills vs a person who can discuss the intricacies oil paintings.

I don't think there are too many people that want to cut graphic design and language courses, so quit being melodramatic.
However, I do know of several of fashion design majors who have never found a job in their field.
