Loomis/Payton may not be the ultimate drafting team but it is the best in Saints history. After the draft someone might want to dredge up some of that garbage.
If you only know the Payton era, just know how bad it was before complaining.
If we're using the Sullivan debacle as a barometer to gauge the intelligence/ expertise of draft departments, there are very few organizations in the history of the league that would compete with that.
They made Al Davis look like a genius that year.
