I give doctors no more than 20 minutes. It's not my fault that they have trouble scheduling correctly (some of it isn't their fault of course).
Are you one of the people who complains that you can't get an appointment the day of your call during the 45 min window you are available?

Yep patients this way are usually the ones that:
show up exactly on time for their appointment and leave no time to fill out registration papers
fail to have their insurance paperwork in order
don't want to tell the receptionist what they are there for
demand un-needed lab work or xrays in the visit
become emotional in the office visit and are unable to answer simple yes and no questions with less than a full paragraph
want to talk about medical issues for family members not in the office
don't know their medications or medical history well
want to discuss multiple unrelated medical issues in one visit
fail to leave a detailed message on office voice mail instead just asking to be called back
call the office for med refills when their RX has refills still available at the pharmacy
and/or generally complain about not getting enough time with the doctor in the actual exam room.
Not to mention, usually having Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, or being uninsured.
