Your two replies are spot on IMO.

A good example of this would be the quick slants to Dural at the end of the first half vs AL and the first half vs A&M.

Both times, Dural was jammed in press coverage, and Jennings showed his inability to do anything remotely resembling making a personal decision not already pre-programmed. As you can tell by my description, I put that more on Jennings, b/c Dural's struggles in press coverage were a known factor. You could say Jennings inability to make a decision were also a known factor, so you could put it on the play call, too.

But, at some point the staff has to trust the QB position to make a decision. We went the entire season last year w/o running a true read option until second half of ND game, and don't you know, first time we let him make decision, ball ends up 10 feet in the air into ND's hands.

Back on topic, I'm not sure Quinn will ever get to the point he is not overmatched. Pulling for him though.

I agree on the Quinn assessment you have. He will always have to work harder than everyone else. But honestly, I would rather have a B player who gives everything he has and the right attitude than an A player who isn't always a team player or giving 100%.

I think blame falls on both QBs and WRs in some areas. I listened awhile back to CCC talk about the WRs not necessarily helping out the QBs. When I first saw it, I was thought it was complete crap, but sometimes they just didn't give the QB the help they needed. That being said, when they did, AJ typically threw it 5 yards away from them. Oh well.

I like him in the slot. Like mentioned above there should be no limit on lining up skill players, just put them in a position to succeed.

Also like him out wide with Diarse/Quinn in the slot. Those guys compliment the Dural, Chi, and Chark types on the perimeter
