He was 2nd in OPS,SLG%,HR and RBI among SS in baseball last year. He was 1st in doubles. He was 6th in fielding percentage. Led all SS's with a WAR of 5.3.
What do you want? What makes it not a "brutal" contract? He is the 5th highest paid short stop by AAV in MLB. Will be 34 when deal expires....I dont get it
