Riddle me this Guilbeau. How do so many teams lose a highly productive QB through injury or suspension, only to have his back-up step in and play just as well or better. Recent examples, Ohio State & tAm?
well, to be fair, that's not a good comparison.

A&M pretty much sucked as a team, but in their system, any QB would average close to 300 yds. They throw it a LOT, and were behind a lot last year too.

Ohio St was a very strong team across the board, and suddenly Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon had to throw out all the film and prepare for a mobile 250 lb guy. Given time, you can address that, but in the short term he's an advantage that can tip the scales. Hell, go back and look at LSU's 2011 win at Alabama. Saban had the Tide totally prepared for the Jared Lee offense, and it was heading towards a shutout. Les Miles put in Jefferson and ran the short-side option, and that one move was the reason we won the game, Bama had no answer for it. Note- Saban then had time to prepare for it, and in the rematch that play was totally destroyed.

So if we get a"system" our QB troubles are over. Where to we get this System?
