It would be nice to see CCA lead the charge by removing the bounty on our breeders. Remove the incentive for killing big trout. Lead by example, right?
I get there are no laws against keeping mule trout but I can't help but think that it would set a huge example if CCA urged it's members to self impose a slot limit.
The recreational fishing population is getting bigger everyday. We can only catch and release into grease for so long. Something has to give.

There should be some sort of slot or limit on number of fish you can keep over a certain size I agree..it makes sense to keep the biggest fish alive, or most of them
