college basketball back then was just incredible. Today's game is a shadow of what it once was.

Yep. Without doubt. I noticed that last night watching part of the LSU-Ga Tech game in 1990. The talent on the court between those two teams was just sick. And that was a 4 vs. a 5 seed.

Think of the UNLV and Duke teams.

Most players who went early would stay through to their Junior year and then go.

Chris Jackson was something of an exception when he went early. Last night in the documentary, Dale Brown said that he was surprised to hear that CJ and Stanley Roberts were not coming back - that they had depended on those two guys returning.

No one would expect that today.

Everyone who says that the NBA is so much better today than it was back then has to explain how that can be when college basketball is a shadow of what it once was and these guys don't get a chance to develop anymore by actually playing the game. Sure, there is great talent, but I do not think that it translates into great team basketball.

Another team nobody has mentioned is Arkansas in 1992

They had our number Todd Day, Lee Mayberry and Big O Oliver.
I'm trying to think was Corliss on the roster yet?
